Cancellation Policy


Cancellations and No-Shows

Parkwood Animal Hospital requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to your appointment to cancel. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, however, the space is reserved for you and other people seeking medical care for their pets may be turned away if we are not given proper cancellation notice. Not showing up for your appointment with no notice is considered a cancellation. A cancellation fee, payable upon your next visit to our clinic, may be applied to your account.

In order to avoid the cancellation fee, we respectfully request you call us at least 24 hours before your appointment so that we may reschedule you accordingly and be able to give the open spot to other pets in need of medical care.

Surgery Cancellations

Cancellations or rescheduling of surgical procedures of any type require 3 business day’s notice. If a surgery is cancelled without this notice, a $250 cancellation fee will be applied to your account and be payable upon your next visit. In addition, a non-refundable deposit of $250 will be required before the surgical procedure is rescheduled and your pet’s surgery will be rescheduled to the next available date.
