FAQs

How much does it cost?

All pets require an exam prior to booking a surgery. This lets us examine the patient’s health and perform pre-surgical bloodwork. These are essential in order for us to minimize risk or address any issues before performing the surgery. A detailed quote will be provided at the exam.

Will my pet need to stay hospitalized?

No. Routine spay and neuter surgery patients are usually dropped-off in the morning and discharged in the afternoon.

Does my pet need a cone collar after surgery?

Yes. Most animals will want to lick a wound or incision. This is dangerous because it can cause serious infection or re-open an incision. If your pet does not tolerate the cone collar, an alternative option is a medical pet shirt - which looks like a onesie.
